Post-Jam Bugfixes
Jam voting has ended by now, but this update represents what we would have hoped to submit for it. The story is now fully readable from start to finish.
The initial jam submission had quite a few bugs, owing to the short dev time (less than 20 hours!) and the fact that my partner's computer died a few hours before the jam, so we didn't have good opportunity to refine or test things. After some rest, we've put a bit of work into identifying and fixing these issues.
These major issues have been fixed:
- A sizable chunk of the middle of the story was accidentally skipped, now it's included
- Text before a knock sequence scrolls properly
And some less major changes that make things nicer:
- Main menu has art
- Countdown bar for knock sequences is no longer visible in following dialog
- Shortened the knock input time
- A few other small fixes, automated tests, and invisible improvements
We plan to continue updating this project gradually, at least until it meets our initial concept. Look forward to:
- Tap code for the conversation(s) with Willow in the cell! (This system was mostly built before the jam but not complete enough to hook it up)
- The multiple endings (already written) appearing based on your choices in the conversation!
- Other things probably!
